A Rocker Plate kit with side-to-side tilt and forward-back motion with an adjustable riser—everything included for you to assemble and get some motion into your indoor training.

  • Side-to-side easy rocking motion AND forward-back smooth rolling motion.
  • 12mm Plywood is strong--no weight limit.
  • On-the-fly adjustable front wheel riser will simulate flat, 5, and 10% road gradients.  Just rotate the front wheel by hand to climb and descend while you train.
  • Counterweight flywheel trainers for a balanced neutral ride position and tune the return force with included resistance bands if desired.
  • Included front wheel riser block also connects to the rocker, rolls, and has a flat top.  You can place an existing riser on it if you use one, and still have unimpeded rolling motion.
  • Easy assembly with full video guides available, everything you need is included except a screwdriver.
  • Aiming for universal fit but just contact me and we can double check your trainer's footprint--lots of different trainers have been used.  Platform measures 27" front to back, and almost 37" wide.
  • Kit ships as flat pieces to keep shipping costs down and minimize the chance of damage.
  • Plywood platform design makes customization easy--lots of possibilities for you to modify as you wish.  Add more hold-downs if you want, easily change to a different trainer, use any number of possibilities to counterweight, etc.

Basically, I wanted to make a rocker plate for myself that would allow me to also experiment with incline training, and then I wondered if I could design it in such a way that I could ship it easily as a kit.  Along the way I added forward/back rolling motion as well, and this is where it is now.  The kit design allows me to keep shipping and labor costs down and focus on max functionality and a way for you to get the benefits of a more natural ride on the trainer at an accessible price.  For me, there's no way I'd ride on a static trainer again.  This is way, way better.
